ซึ่งอาจไม่ถูกไวยากรณ์ แต่ก็เป็นวิวัฒนาการ ทางภาษาในสมัยนิยม

Just ของ US นิยม Past Simple Tense ในการพูด ส่วนการเขียน ยังคงใช้ Present Perfect Tense เหมือน UK

ตัวอย่างวลี ที่ใช้ Just just about = แทบจะ, เกือบจะ,เกือบถึง(เป้าหมาย)

just because = เพียงเพราะว่า...
isn’t just because = ไม่ใช่เพียงเพราะว่า...
just because you thought = เพียงเพราะคุณคิดว่า...
just because he thought = เพียงเพราะเขาคิดว่า...
just enough = พอดีเป๊ะเลย
Just for emphasis = เพียงเพื่อการเน้น
look just like = เหมือนกับ...มาก

just here = ตรงนี้เลย

just finished = เพิ่งเสร็จ..
just like = เหมือนกับ, เช่นเดียวกับ

ไม่ใช่แค่ปลา ยังมีกุ้ง, ปู, หอยรวมอยู่ด้วย

- Students have to consider not just tuition but also housing, meals, books and other costs including social activities.
นักศึกษาต้องพิจารณาไม่เพียง แต่ค่าเล่าเรียน แต่ยังรวมถึงที่อยู่อาศัย อาหาร หนังสือ และค่าใช้จ่ายอื่น ๆ รวมถึงกิจกรรมทางสังคม
