- befor = ก่อน / มาก่อน / ก่อนจะ
โครงสร้างประโยค
1. - before + เวลา / เหตุการณ์
2. - เวลา / เหตุการณ์ + before
3. - before + คำนาม (คน /สัตว์/สิ่งของ ฯล)

1. - before + เวลา / เหตุการณ์

- He will arrive before 5pm.
เขาจะมาถึงก่อนเวลา 5 โมงเย็น

- I met her just before she left.
ฉันเพิ่งเจอกับเขา ก่อนที่เขาจะออกไป

- He was a teacher before the war.
เขาเป็นครูก่อนเกิดศึกสงคราม

- Before you go, please close the door.
ก่อนที่คุณไป ช่วยปิดประตูให้หน่อย

- It was an hour before the police arrived.

ฉันเคยฟังคุณร้องมาก่อน

คนที่ข่มขืนคุณน่ะ คุณเคยเห็นเขามาก่อนหรือเปล่า (ตัดมาจากบทภาพยนต์)

- That means you’re trying to do something that you haven’t done before.
นั่นหมายถึงคุณพยายามทำอะไรที่คุณไม่เคยทำมาก่อน

คุณเคยรับงานมากกว่าที่คุณจะทำได้มาก่อนไหม (เป็นสำนวน /chew = เคี้ยว/ขบเคี้ยว)

3. - before + คำนาม (คน /สัตว์/สิ่งของ ฯล)

- She was before me in the queue.
เธออยู่ก่อนผมในคิว /เธออยู่ด้านหน้าผมในคิว

- I want you there before he is. Do you copy?
ฉันต้องการให้คุณอยู่ตรงนั้นก่อนเขา คุณเข้าใจมั้ย (copy = รับทราบ)
