TECHNIC AUTO CAR: การใช้ like

like = ชอบ / อยาก / เหมือนกับ / คล้าย ๆกับ
การใช้ like ที่อาจสับสน
- ประธาน + like + นาม / สรรพนาม (กรรม) = ชอบ
- ประธาน + Verb to be + like + นาม / สรรพนาม (กรรม) = คล้าย ๆกับ / เหมือนกับ


- I like you.	= ฉันชอบคุณ
- I am like you.	= ฉันคล้ายคุณ

- He likes her.	= เขาชอบเธอ
- He is like her.	= เขาคล้ายเธอ

- He likes my friend.	= เขาชอบเพื่อนของฉัน
- He is like my freind.	= เขาคล้ายเพื่อนของฉัน

- She likes him.	= เธอชอบเขา
- She is like him.	= เธอเหมือนเขา

- He is like his father.	= เขาเหมือนพ่อของเขา
- She is like her mother.	= เธอเหมือนแม่ของเธอ

การใช้ like = ชอบ

สังเกตุโครงสร้างประโยคมักเป็น : ประธาน(สิ่งมีชีวิต) + like + นาม / สรรพนาม
- I like you.
ฉันชอบคุณ

- I like you a lot.
ฉันชอบคุณมาก

- Does she like ice cream?
หล่อนชอบทานไอศกรีมหรือเปล่า

- He likes to treat everybody.
เขาชอบเลี้ยงทุกคน

- Thais like strong-flavored food.
คนไทยชอบอาหารรสจัด

- He found someone else that he likes more.
เขาเจอคนที่ชอบมากกว่า

- I like him. He’s from the same village as me.
ฉันชอบเขา เขามาจากบ้านเดียวกับฉัน

- I don't like him. I don't know much about him.
ฉันไม่ได้ชอบเขา แล้วก็ไม่ได้รู้จักเขามากมาย

- I mean 5 years of telling you the kind of pizza I like, and it still doesn't occur to you to get it.

- I like to wear this shirt.
ฉันชอบใส่เสื้อตัวนี้

- I like to eat salty food.
ฉันชอบกินอาหารเค็ม

- What do you like to eat?
คุณชอบทานอะไร

- Do you like to work out?
คุณชอบออกกำลังกายมั้ย

- I like to eat greasy food.
ฉันชอบกินอาหารมัน ๆ

- I don’t like to eat salty food.
ฉันไม่ชอบกินอาหารเค็ม

- Do you like to eat papaya salad?

- I like to read, I learn new things.

- You’re like an old man!

- That’s more like it.

การใช้ feel like

- feel like + Sub = รู้สึกว่า... / รู้สึกเหมือนว่า... / รู้สึกราวกับว่า...
- feel like + V1 = รู้สึกอยากจะ...(คล้าย ๆกับ want และ would like)

- feel like = รู้สึกว่า... / รู้สึกเหมือนว่า... / รู้สึกราวกับว่า...
ตัวอย่าง
- I really feel like we’ve met before.
ฉันรู้สึกเหมือนเราได้พบมาก่อน

- I feel like I have a hangover.
ฉันรู้สึกเหมือนกับว่าเมาค้าง

- feel like = รู้สึกว่าน่าจะ..

- feel like + Ving = ต้องการ.../รู้สึกอยากจะ...(คล้าย ๆกับ want และ would like)
